Applied Approach
The Applied approach to medical anthropology is the research and analysis done by anthropologist for a certain issue. Hospitals, local governments and organizations like the CDC hire medical anthropologists to improve their programs using their approach. Medical anthropologists play an important role in the healthcare of local and global communities/populations. They study the environment and the culture of a certain community to understand ways of improving their health.
